Hi loves,
As you say your goodbyes to 2019, I hope you are able to find a moment to reflect on the wonder of this life that has moved thru. My intention for 2019 was establishing trust and I have learned over time that trust comes from tuning into stillness and watching the movement of life. I encourage you to pause after you read this and experience it for yourself. Maybe place Vajrapradama Mudra over your heart (shown below). I am writing this poolside in Florida. This is the first day that the sun has been out and the waters have calmed down. It's easy to tune into what is still and then watch as the breeze, the butterflies, the birds move thru. There's this sense of basic trust. That everything is exactly as it's suppose to be because it is.
I have watched this developing established trust unfold in all aspects of my life. It is truly amazing and I am in awe with gratitude. AND... I think my greatest rub with Trust is when it comes to my dear daughter Tessa. It's that time of letting go and trusting that she has gotten what she needs from me to navigate this life. I cringe as I watch her eat FireHot Cheetos and too much candy, spend too much time on her phone, spending all her money on makeup. Thoughts that she is not getting enough exercise, not enough vegetables, she is not doing enough extracurricular activities, wondering if she will get into the college of her choice. It's in those moments when I can feel the grip we can have that I pause, soften and come back to trust. The stillness is here and life is moving thru. Then I can watch in awe as she plays so sweetly with her little cousins, loving the animals and flying a kite on the beach with effortless ease. Even if you don't have kids you can probably relate, whether it comes to your relationship with a partner, a parent, a sibling, humanity in general or even yourself. When we pause, soften and tune into stillness, we see the magic of life move.
I am excited to see how this life wants to move thru in 2020, no less this decade. I know 2020 is going to be filled with offerings for just men and just women, possibly just parents. I am planning on holding Yoga for Fulfillment again starting February. I am delighted to be teaching with my beloved partner Ben and hope to have some rich offerings for you that collaborate with some of my amazing sisters. Stay tuned and read below what is on the upcoming calendar. Skiing and meditation is FUN!
Love to you all on this Wonder - FULL last day of 2019! Hope to spend time with you soon in the New Year!
Namaste,
Shari
